What is global address validation?

Global address validation checks an international address and returns it cleansed and standardised, with separate address fields and validation information. It helps you catch incomplete or inconsistent addresses before they reach your CRM, mailings or deliveries.

Can I validate addresses in bulk?

Yes. Upload an address file and Provero checks every record, with no API integration needed. Download the cleansed results when the run completes. Use the API when you want to check addresses automatically as they arrive.

Can I check addresses before saving them to my CRM?

Yes. Call the API from your registration, checkout or lead capture form, or from the process that writes to your CRM. Use the validation information to accept the address, ask for missing details or send it for review.

What is the difference between address lookup and address validation?

Global address lookup helps a customer find and select their address while filling in a form. Global address validation checks a complete address you already have, from a form, an import or a customer file, and returns cleansed fields with validation information. Many forms use both: lookup at capture, validation before the record is saved.

Which countries are supported?

Global address validation works with international postal addresses. Include the country in each address you send. If you want to confirm coverage for specific countries before a large run, email support@provero.io with your list. For UK addresses checked against Royal Mail PAF, use UK address validation (PAF).

What does the service return?

A cleansed, formatted address and separate fields for the address lines, town or city, region, postcode and country code. Validation information shows whether the address is complete and which details need attention. Detailed output adds component-level confirmations and location information where available.

How much does global address validation cost?

It is sold as prepaid volume packs, from £0.034 per validation in a 500-request pack down to £0.020 per validation in a 100,000-request pack. All prices exclude VAT.
